Ali supports leaders in organizations who strive to develop their talent, increase the bottom line, and coach individuals to engage with passion and vision.
She guides leaders in building resilience and improving performance by bringing awareness to opportunity behaviors through her leadership and sales coaching.
Bringing over 30 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, in many capacities, Ali has built two successful businesses and is now sharing her expertise through public speaking.
As the principal coach and CEO of Spark Your Mindset, she guides all individuals to become the leaders they are intended to be.
Ali speaks from years of experience and true embodiment on the following subjects:
Ali learned about empathy when going through a four year adoption process and she couldn’t understand why relationships felt disconnected. She learned that the support system around her couldn’t show empathy because they hadn’t ever experienced what she was going through. It was at that point Ali started researching and digging into how we can show empathy and deepen our relationships with others even if we haven’t experienced what others have.
Ali believes we are all wired to experience human connection and it is an essential part of what makes us happy. During COVID many people did not have as many human connection experiences and watched how in their work environments they were focusing on false forms of connection. The most common one was gossiping about others and siloing out one team member.
This is one of Ali’s values that she holds close to her heart. She believes transparency opens up relationships in a way where you feel connected and a deep level of trust. In companies transparency thrives when it is supported by emotional intelligence with knowing what is appropriate to share and what is not. There are healthy boundaries with transparency so others feel safe.
Ali’s life journey has been rooted in how to trust others. She was taught in her childhood not to trust which then created a cycle of not trusting others and making it so she did not receive trust. Trust is something she continues to work on. For her it means learning how to be vulnerable by trusting others first as well as being authentic with who she shows up as, every day personally and professionally.
